When I first moved to the UK back in early 2016, I needed a pair of shoes that I could wear on several occasions.
So I bought these black vans cos I wanted to look cool and hip. They also worked for my business meetings without having to spend money on more expensive business shoes which I anyway never really liked.
Honestly, these fitted well my situation at that point.
I was living between Greece, Spain, UK and travelling around the world; vagabonding, and
settling in new countries, working, and trying to enjoy the present, making money but trying to
live a moneyless life!
I still have these shoes and when I look at them, they always remind me of my first years in
England (Leeds and then London!).
